Note: NIIFT will be able to run the courses subject to minimum admission of 10 students in each course at each centre; NIIFT reserve the right to withdraw to run any course

Eligibility Criteria

Under Graduate Programs (B.Sc)

For Fashion Design/ Fashion Design (Knits)/ Textile Design: The +2 level examinations in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination such as CBSE , New Delhi and Council for Indian School of Certificate New Delhi; or

General Certificate Education (GCE) Exam (London /Cambridge/ Sri Lanka at the Advanced (A) level; or

Any Public School/ Board/ University Exam in India or in Foreign countries recognized by Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system; or A pass grade in Senior Secondary School Exam conducted by National Open School with minimum of five subjects; or 3 or 4 years diploma recognized by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education

Postgraduate Programs (M.Sc)

For Garment Manufacturing Technology /Fashion Marketing & Mgmt.: B.Sc/B.Tech/BE or BA / B.Com / BBA /BCA with any one of the following subjects: Economics /Statistics /Management/ Marketing/ Mathematics/ Textiles / Fashion / Accounts/ Computers/ Home Science/ any other related Diploma

Reservation of Seats

The reservation policy followed by NIIFT for seats in each program is as follows (Subject to the condition of defined eligibility)
SC - 25%
PH - 03%

Foreign National/NRI - 07 seats

General - Rests

SC Candidates: Candidates applying under this reserved quota would have to produce a Caste/Tribe certificate from Competent Authority of respective State /Union Territories/National Commission of Tribes

PH Candidates: Candidates seeking admission under this physically handicapped quota must produce a Disability Certificate issued by Medical Board attached with Vocational Rehabilitation Centre (VRC) working under Ministry of Labour, Govt. of India, certifying their disability as 40% or more

Foreign/NRI Candidates: 07 seats in each discipline are reserved for admission of Foreign Nationals whether residing in India or abroad, applicants from Non Resident Indians are as specified in Income Tax Act 1961

The admission to NIIFT Programs to NRI/ Foreign Nationals will be offered on first com first serve basis

How to Apply

Candidates have to submit the application online at https://applyadmission.net/niiftmohali2016/

Candidates belonging to General Category are required to make payment of Rs.1750/- either direct online payment through Credit Card/Debit card/ Net Banking to AIMA or in form of Demand Draft of Rs.1750/- in favour of NIIFT Mohali

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PHP Category are required to make payment of Rs.1150/- either direct online payment through Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net banking to AIMA or in form of Demand Draft of Rs.1150/- in favour of NIIFT Mohali

Fill the form online and send a printout of filled in form along with photograph pasted on it and demand draft (if applicable) to "The Manager CMS, All India Management Association, Management House, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-11000" latest by 03rd February 2016

Note:

Send the duly completed Print Version of Online Application Form having Auto Generated Application No. to "The Project Manger CMS, All India Management Association, Management House, 14, Institutional Area, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003" so as to reach on or before  03rd February 2016

Registration Process will be completed only on receipt of Print Version of Online Application Form

Eligible candidates applying for both UG & PG Programs have to fill separate online application forms and have to submit separate print out of filled application form containing different auto generated application number alongwith separate demand draft of requisite fee

Test Centres: Chandigarh, Dehradun, Delhi, Ludhiana, Lucknow, Patna

Admit Card

On the basis of the information given in the NIIFT Application Form, Admit Card of provisionally eligible candidates will be available to the candidates for download from the NIIFT Website on or after 10th February 2016 (14:00 hours)

On such downloaded Admit Cards the candidates are required to affix their photograph (similar to that affixed on the Application Form) on the downloaded Admit Card and get it attested by a Gazzetted Officer/school Or College Principal for producing at Exam
