AIEED 2016 Exam Dates

Arch Academy of Design, Jaipur has announced the exam dates for All India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED-2016), which will be conducted from December 2015-February 2016. The AIEED series I online entrance exam will be held from Tuesday, December 15, 2015 to Monday, February 29, 2016 and Centre Based Entrance examwill be held on Sunday, January 24, 2016.
AIEED is conducted for taking admission to undergraduate and post graduate programs offered in design specializations for the session 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for AIEED 2016:
  • For UG Programs:
    • Students who have appeared for/cleared class 10+2 (CBSE/ICSE/IB/state board/NIOS or equivalent as per UGC Guidelines) are eligible to write AIEED Exam.
    • As per Pearson-Edexcel norms, all students 16 years and above are eligible for the international undergraduate level program and can therefore, also apply.
    • Students applying for 4 year undergraduate interior design program with a valid NATA score/ AIEEE rank are exempted from AIEED exam and will be called for interview directly.
    • Class 10+1 students can also write AIEED 2016-17. Qualifying students will be eligible for direct admission in academic year 2017 after clearing the interview.
  • For PG Programs: Graduates or students pursuing graduation in any discipline from a recognized university can apply for this program.
Application Procedure for AIEED 2016:
  • Candidates can apply online.
  • The application fee is INR 1500/-. Candidates can pay either using debit/credit card & using online payment gateway.
  • Candidates can also pay through the demand draft mentioning your name and phone number at the back, drawn in favor of “Arch Educational Society” payable at Jaipur is to be sent at ARCH Academy of Design, Plot No 9, Govind Marg, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur 302017.
  • Candidates can also make the payment in Bank of India branch.
Paper Pattern for AIEED 2016:
  • Total Marks for the exam 200.
  • Duration of exam is 3 hours and 15 minutes.
  • Exams can be given in the online format or the offline format. Question papers have been made bilingual - Hindi & English. The offline Exam can be answered in either language. The online Exam will need to be answered in English only (although the questions can be read in Hindi too).
